I went to the Lee Hom concert tonight which was amusing indeed. What was more touching though about the evening was what happened outside the concert hall. Ten minutes before the concert was due to start, the better half realises we’ve forgotten to put coupons out for the parking.

Walking back, with pretty much everyone inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium, a taxi pulls up to the main staircase into the venue. A guy gets his girlfriend out who is blindfolded. He removes the blindfold and she’s a little dumb-founded by what she’s doing there. Then it dawns on her that she might be there for the Lee Hom concert but yet she still doesn’t believe it. The poor guy has to show her the tickets before she goes nuts on the guy.

Was quite touching indeed to watch. Ah, the follies of youth. And mate, in future, you might afford the courtesy to us other men of not doing such wonderfully beautiful displays of romance in front of our girlfriends.
