Pretty interesting video by tech guru, David Pogue, on the third party apps for the iPhone. Although, the popcorn application on the iPhone sort of sums up why it isn't important for me to get an iPhone. Mobiles are for mobility. Computers are for computing.
Yes, but mobile computing, although in its infancy, is going to be ubiquitous. I have an iPhone and, whilst I think it’s nowhere near perfect, I’ve become very dependent on the various mobile computing functions it offers. I think you’ll like one of the open-source android phones that’ll soon be around
