My mate was celebrating her birthday at a place called Gossips in Wan Chai. Strange payment policy over there. Apparently, you pay yer 300 bucks and you get unlimited drinks for the whole night. Too good to be true? Indeedy so, since it wasn’t made clear that your drink list is then only beer, Johnny Walker, Sex on the Beach, and Nothings (watermelon, malibu, something else). Drinks are available a la carte it would seem, but this isn’t made entirely obvious to you (until, of course, you order that G&T).

Determined to get me money’s worth, we started playing the 6 Cups Dice game. Normally, it’s played with beer which is friendlier but since it was freeflow Johnny Walker, the players threw caution to the wind (some under protest). Progressed to a lovely shot competition with Nothings. Initially, it was supposed to be between Greg, Anton and meself but then those two decided to wheel in the assistance of James and Amy. First to 12 shots, of course I was going to lose! Sorta hampered me afterwards too when I did a one-on-one with Greg with a first to 10 shots.

Anyway, I’m pretty sure I got my 300 bucks worth.
