Quiet funny really. I mean, who would have thought blogs were so complicated? I mean, I thought the whole point was that it was a push button publishing medium. I’m sure if my tech-retarded friends can blog, a big company can figure out how to blog. Oh, it’s about getting the right message across? Isn’t that still a core advertising or PR skill? Hmm… how about monitoring them? Can anyone say RSS?
The point is that this technology isn’t so hard to utilize and there are plenty companies making a quick buck to demystify this whole blogging thing. A corner stone of blogging is that it is sincere. Overworking it with the corporate makeover just makes a blog, branded content with an “I”.
