I always find the great thing about going back to Europe is the quietness of it all. My home in the UK, and now my parent’s home in the Netherlands, were always away from the noise of the city centres. Of course, these places were never really all that loud as it is, but it makes such a change to be able to stand outside and hear silence. When I get back to Hong Kong, I plan to find more silent places where everything is just quiet. It’s one of those things that you don’t miss until you experience it again.
