Okay, that is just plain friggin freaky. It would seem that Tripod is hosting some dodgy advertising on their sites. Am I bemoaning the avalanche of pop-up software? Nope…’cause Firefox does a great a job of blocking the pop-ups.

My computer started talking to me. Yep, those marketers have got a new toy to play with. About 30 seconds into reading the site that was hosted by Tripod, I get some woman (okay, she had a sexy voice but hey that’s not the point…) telling me how she’s going to tell me about how to earn my university degree without ever stepping foot in a classroom. Lucky me.

Not amused at all.
