July 29, 2004 And now the time has come…
Sometimes no matter how hard you fight for something, it’s inevitable that you will lose. It’s a slow realization that maybe I need to seek greener pastures elsewhere from Hong Kong. So with a speculative eye, I think I shall start to look towards Europe or, as my friends would have me do, look to Singapore. There’s still some fight left in me but it is dwindling fast.

Singapore sounds ok – at least you could always sleep on Eyals and Ora’s floor for a bit.
You could always come back, safe in the knowledge that you’ve experienced life in HK and it’s made you a bit wiser.

Folks, I’m not dead yet, you know. It ain’t over till the fat lady sings, and HK seems to have a lack of fat ladies.
SG is not a confirmed thing. But what I hear from my friends, the market is picking up there. In any case, SG might be boring but at least you can go diving in cleaner waters, wakeboard and oggle scantily clad women (and get look back).
Put like that, it’s a damned bloody picnic compared to having to go back to either London or God forbid, Amsterdam for all eternity.

I gotta stop speaking to Eyal. It seems every time I talk to him, he’s convincing me that SG is a nice place to go.
And this was the first time I’ve spoken with him online since he got back from India nearly two months ago.
