June 3, 2004 Cult of Violence
After Japan’s killing of a 12 year old school girl by her classmate, no doubt people will want to find someone to blame for this.
Thankfully, they’ll have a hard time pinning it on the immigrant Chinese who increasingly being blamed for an apparent upsurge in violence.
One wonders whether films like Battle Royale and Blue Spring play any contributing part to this upsurge in youth crime. Since the bubble burst, there has been an upsurge in youth crimes like going around and beating salary men, serial gang rapes and so on.
Personally, I blame twats like Quentin Tarantino that come out with mindless violent dribble like Kill Bill. It ain’t stylish, it ain’t clever. It’s just violence. Woohoo. Move on people.
