Last night, I went down to 1/5 for the Superfly session that my mate el revez is DJing in. The night proved to be busier than usual for a Thursday (so read not busy at all). Anyway, I’m not an expert on that style of music but I trust my mate did well. He was saying something about the equipment being a little funny which caused him some upset during his set. His girlfriend brought down a whole legion of ladies to support him (I think I counted six at one point). Greg turned up too albeit at about midnight. Good thing was that he didn’t turn into a pumpkin that night and stayed for the duration of the night. Turns out Carman and Samantha were there too but tucked away on the other side of the bar and we didn’t get to see them till the bar shut.

I finally got to meet the famous Glutter which was exciting. Turns out she’s a very cool and funny gal, although she still has some funny notions about this whole democracy thing in Hong Kong. Actually, we didn’t talk much politics and she’s a little more chilled out than I had expected to be honest. Which is great. For some reason, she had the impression that I would be wearing a suit and shirt, and be a banker? Strange…

And Sharon made a flying visit to say hi to me in 1/5. When I say flying, I literally mean she came in, smoked a cigarette, and left. But I’m still touched nonetheless, since she had gone from Central to Happy Valley to drop off her friend and then had come to Wan Chai just to say hi to me. And she lives somewhere in Causeway Bay. Go figure?
