The latest blogs that I read, updated 28 March, 2004.
Turning the Tide
The Success Network
Michelle’s Daily Dose for Writers
Wires
Flying Yangban
The new blogs for this week are Turning The Tide, The Success Network, Michelle’s Writer’s Blog, Wires and Flying Yangban.
Turning The Tide is Noam Chomsky’s own blog where you get all the paranoid conspiracy theories first hand. I like some of the thoughts he puts out there but sometimes he’s a little far out for my liking (okay, just read liberal there). Anyway, it’s good to see different opinions on the politics that go on in the world.
The Success Network, despite it’s rather sad name, has some interesting information on photography and writing. I’m not sure it’s updated frequently but I found it while trying to find a sample model release. If you can forgive the name, avoid being sold something, take a gander if you are interested.
Another interesting writing resource blog is Michelle’s Daily Dose for Writers. It gives helpful advice for those interested in creatively writing and sets a daily exercise for would-be writers to help augment their skills. I’ll be the next Robert Jorden or Dan Brown with this site, I’m sure (sarcasm).
Wires caught my eye while I was surfing at Dear Raed. It’s a blog about a woman who has been contracted out by an Iraqi client to help rebuild the country after it’s pummelling by the US. It’s good to have a newcomers view on what the situation in Iraq is like.
Lastly, Flying Yangban is a good read, despite the feeling that I get that it’s opinions are heavily idolatory to Western influences. It’s also great for keeping upto date with the Korean political sphere and promises to keep me upto date with the latest nefarious goings on with the Norks, as the writer affectionately refers to the North Koreans.
