UC’s accidental pop star ‘American Idol’ reject is hot item on campus — and far beyond.

I saw the performance and he was rejected for very, very valid reasons. For those of you who say image isn’t everything, the guy couldn’t sing and a real bad voice. He may well be the next Chen Ching Hsiang, but I very much doubt. That guys at least funny and can sing.

Anyway, according to the article:

“He’s hot at UC Berkeley, where he studies engineering — but he’s scorching in Singapore, according to his unofficial publicist.

“If he went there, women would rip his clothes off in the streets,” said Don Chin, a real estate agent in McKinleyville.”

Which goes a long way in explaining A) the tastes of Americans and B) why so many Americans have this attitude that they can score in places like Singapore and Hong Kong.

Purlease…can someone please put this guy out of his misery and explain to him the concept of laughing WITH and AT someone.
