Eshin Direct

This morning I had the privilege of being shafted by four taxis. The first three taxis were stolen from right under by nose by other people. I managed to pay them back the favour by giving them really dirty looks but that only gets you so far. The last taxi did one of my favourite taxi pet hates, which has happened a number times to me in HK. I signalled for the taxi to stop, and he acknowledged by switching on his indicator, slowed down to a crawl and then just drove on. Like WTF? He acknowledge the fare but refused to take it? Just drive on if you’re not going to take it but don’t jerk me around and slow down when you’re next to me. But I guess it’s an automated response that most taxi drivers have here, since they seem to go to a pathetic crawl whenever someone seems to be standing by the roadside and they don’t have a fare.
