I’m in a bad mood today. I think it’s because I am running on only a couple of hours sleep. I’m stuck in an office where there is a little or no work for me to do and I’ve got stuff to do that I can only do at home.

My bad mood was further accentuated with by the ham and cheese croissant that insisted crumbling everywhere but the bag that it came in. I’m sure a French person will tell me that that’s the way a croissant is supposed to be. It’s part of the big basket of dumb things they have given the world. I’m sure it was just to spite the English, who I find have quite dry and tasteless bread, when they arrived numerous times on French soil to conquer them. (Imagine cheesy French accent a la ‘Allo Allo: “Monsieur, please, have some of this lovely, tasty bread wrapped up in this inconvenient pastry…there that should teach to invade our country with your inferior bread. Now we will take over the world with our annoying, but addictive croissant.”)

I was then put in an even more of a bad mood because the team that sits next to me are the loudest in our office. That I’m used to but this time they insisted doing that annoying thing where they speak Cantonese and then through in cliched English expressions. Almost as if to demonstrate they can speak English. Which they can, otherwise they wouldn’t be working here. “Cantonese, Cantonese, Cantonese, It’s up to you. Cantonese, cantonese, cantonese, You are so pretty. Cantonese, cantonese, cantonese.” Then they reply to each other with the same English phrases embedded into the conversation. Almost went postal on them…but then it wouldn’t do to lose my temper entirely.

Grrrrrr…really tired now.
