Eshin Direct

Well, the ball is rolling on Singapore. Tried to talk my potential new boss for better pay and for a better title. The point was a little moot since I had already decided that I want to go for the job. Anyway, the title and the pay remain the same. It’s gonna be tough…having to adjust to the changes but hopefully I can do it. However, I’m not entirely there yet. I still need to convince the finance director to take on another foreigner on the pay roll and I have to convince the Account Director that I’ll be working for that I am the right person for her.

Apparently the interviewing process is coming to end and the decision will be taken quite soon. I’m a last minute candidate and I haven’t had the benefit of an interview to take this job. Hopefully, my years of experience at McCann’s will sway the decision in my favour. This will all be resolved tomorrow on the phone, I believe. So I’m off to prepare for tomorrow’s unexpected intereview. I hope she doesn’t consider me too overqualified and that there’s a connection when I speak to her.

My life’s direction depends on tomorrow. It’s a strange feeling. We’ll see through this one as we’ve done in the past.
